    Introducing the DIF Designation -    AHIP DIF Designation Course Information

    Through a long-standing relationship with Americas Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), we are pleased to offer their newest and most advanced professional designation, the Disability Income Fellow (DIF), exclusively for you. AHIP provides a wide-range of educational courses and professional designations that can assist you in increasing your skills, proficiency, and knowledge. Having the DIF initials behind your name will signify a commitment to your career and represent your superior expertise and assist you in increasing your skills, proficiency, and knowledge. AHIP is making it easier than ever for you to fulfill your elective course requirement for the Disability Income Fellow designation.  

    Disability Income Associate

    Insurance and health care professionals, as well as financial planners, pursue the Centers DIA designation for increased awareness of the risks and costs associated with disability. By completing this designation, youll fully understand employer-sponsored disability programs ranging from sick leave benefits to long-term disability income plans, including their tax consequences and tax planning considerations. You will also learn how disability income insurance fits into retirement, estate, and long-term care planning.

    Disability Healthcare Professional

    The Center's DHP designation expands on the specialized course of study offered in the DIA program. It provides you with the knowledge you need on disability income insurance and its role in protecting individuals from the financial losses that often occur from serious physical injuries and other severe health afflictions. By completing this designation, you'll acquire a solid background in basic product concepts and terminology, contracts, underwriting, and sales and marketing. You'll also have a thorough orientation in operations management, including cost management, pricing, claims administration, policy issue and renewal, customer service, government regulation, and fraud.
